What it is
The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Selino (DEYA Selino) has had a single tariff for the whole Municipality of Kantanos-Selino since 2022 (decision 71/2022, approved by the Municipal Council in 2023). In every area, the new household tariff gives 30% off the water price and the sewerage use fees for:
- people with disabilities;
- needy people (DEYA asks for proof of poverty, e.g. a certificate of financial hardship; unemployment alone is not enough);
- large families (including a parent without a spouse with three children, whom the law treats as a large family).
You apply to DEYA Selino to join the social tariff with your documents. The decision sets no income limit and no minimum disability percentage; confirm the documents with DEYA.
