What it is

DEYA Trikala applies a special water tariff for vulnerable consumers of the Municipality of Trikala. The discount is 50% off the normal tariff and the supply maintenance fee, up to a consumption limit; consumption above the limit is charged normally.

  • Three-child families, with household income up to €25,000: up to 50 m³ per two months on the former Municipality of Trikala network or 150 m³ per six months on the networks of the former Kapodistrian municipalities.
  • Large families, with household income up to €30,000 plus €2,500 for each further child: up to 60 m³ per two months or 200 m³ per six months.
  • People with a disability of 80% or more (or dependants with 80% or more), families with two people with a disability of 67% or more living together, and transplant recipients, with household income up to €25,000: up to 50 m³ per two months or 150 m³ per six months.
  • Minimum Guaranteed Income (former KEA) recipients: up to 18 m³ per two months for 1-2 people, 40 m³ for 4 people and 10 m³ for each further person (in the villages 40, 150 and 20 m³ per six months).

Under the law (ν. 3454/2006) a parent without a spouse with three dependent children also counts as a large family.

The tariff applies only to the main home, when the beneficiary is the account holder. If the name must change, a lease is needed and previous bills must be paid or settled. The discount is renewed every year with the documents; you can also apply online.
