What it is
The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Zakynthos (DEYAZ) applies special tariffs for vulnerable groups, kept in the 2025-2029 fees (approved by the Zakynthos Municipal Council in February 2026):
- large families (including a parent without a spouse with three children, whom the law treats as a large family), people with a disability of 80% or more and the long-term unemployed: 50% off;
- the needy: 70% off;
- recipients of the Social Solidarity Income (now the Minimum Guaranteed Income): 10% off.
Bills are issued every two months. You apply to DEYAZ with the documents for your group; the decision sets no income limits.
