With the documents, within the deadline of the yearly call (2026: by 31/08/2026).

Selection and approval
The bequest's three-member committee selects; the list is posted at the Municipality and objections are possible within 10 days. The Secretary of the Decentralised Administration of Macedonia–Thrace gives final approval.

What it is
The Municipality of Serres manages the Ioannis Apostolidis bequest, which funds the studies of male citizens of Serres and Neos Skopos. In 2026 two scholarships of €5,000 a year were approved for students admitted to university in 2025–2026.
Conditions (2026 call): male, registered in the Serres or Neos Skopos (Emmanouil Pappas) community; Greek citizenship or origin; aged up to 36; graduate of a lyceum in the town of Serres with a final-year grade above 18; first-year university student in 2025–2026; proven need (income and assets judged by eligibility for the Minimum Guaranteed Income); no other bequest scholarship for the same studies.
Paid monthly until the end of the normal duration of studies, subject to yearly progress. The 2026 call closed on 31/08/2026 (Revenue Department of the Municipality). The next call has not been announced yet.
