Rafina-Pikermi vulnerable-groups tariff: reduced water and 50% off municipal fees (2026)
For 2026 the Municipality of Rafina-Pikermi gives large, three-child and single-parent families, people with a 67%+ disability, the long-term unemployed, the needy and EEE recipients roughly half-price water and 50% off cleaning-lighting fees, within low income limits.

What it is
With its decision on the 2026 water fees (199/2025), the Rafina-Pikermi Municipal Council includes in the Vulnerable Groups Special Tariff: 1. large families with four minor children or with large-family status (including a parent without a spouse with three children, whom the law treats as a large family); 2. three-child families with three minor children; 3. single-parent families with one or more minor children; 4. people with a disability of at least 67% (themselves or their minor children); 5. the long-term unemployed (if married, both must be unemployed); 6. the needy (in or at risk of poverty, with supporting evidence); 7. recipients of the Social Solidarity Income (now the Minimum Guaranteed Income).
Income limit for groups 1-4: €5,000 personal taxable income, raised by €5,000 for the spouse or another person living with you and by €5,000 for each child; for single parents the parent's limit is doubled and for disabled people it is four times. For the long-term unemployed: taxable family income up to €5,000, +€2,000 for each child.
Those included get 50% off the cleaning and lighting fees and the electrified-premises tax, and a reduced water price for up to 40 cubic metres per four months for the couple of a large or three-child family (+20 for each child living with them), up to 100 for people with disabilities (with two disabled people in the family, 100 cubic metres free and €0.59 per cubic metre above that) and up to 60 for the other groups. The special water tariff is €0.30 per cubic metre for 0-10 m³ a month (general €0.59), €0.43 for 11-15 (€0.85), €0.57 for 16-20 (€1.13) and €0.63 for 21-25 (€1.25).
