What it is
The Municipality of Aktio-Vonitsa set its water, irrigation and sewerage charges for 2026 (Municipal Council decision 4/2026). A 50% cut in the water charge goes to the Municipality's registered citizens (the registered member may also be your spouse or partner):
- who belong to large families;
- who themselves, or dependants in their family, have a 67% disability.
The household's annual income must be up to €15,000, plus €5,000 for each dependant. The same groups also get 50% off the sewage-treatment charge in the Anaktorio and Palairos municipal units.
