What it is
The Minimum Guaranteed Income is the former Social Solidarity Income (KEA); it was renamed by article 29 of Law 4659/2020. The guaranteed amount is EUR 216 per month for a single-person household, plus EUR 108 for each additional adult and EUR 54 for each minor, up to EUR 972 per month. In a single-parent household the oldest minor is counted as an adult. Income in the six months before applying may not exceed six times the household guaranteed amount, capped at EUR 5,832. Property, financial assets and the other official OPEKA conditions are also checked.
