What it is
The Municipality of Chania, with the Region of Crete, subsidises the Chania city-bus (Astiko KTEL) monthly unlimited pass for active students of the Technical University of Crete, under the «spoudaZO sta Chania» programme.
The normal price is €40.00; the student pays €19.00 and the Municipality and Region cover €21.00. The pass is valid for 30 full days from first validation on all Astiko KTEL Chania lines; line 23 serves the campus with at least 12 direct trips on working days and during exams.
The Municipality–KTEL contract was signed on 23/12/2025 for about 9–10 months and can be extended. You do not need to be registered or living in Chania. Buy the pass from Astiko KTEL Chania at the reduced price.
