Annual November Support for Pensioners, People with Disabilities and Uninsured Elderly (Article 72, Law 5217/2025)
An annual tax-free amount of €300, protected from seizure, paid automatically without an application by 30 November to pensioners, recipients of disability benefits and uninsured elderly people (article 72 of Law 5217/2025, as amended by article 17 of Law 5313/2026).

What it is
Every year, by 30 November, a tax-free support payment of €300 is made automatically, without an application, to pensioners, recipients of disability benefits and uninsured elderly people (article 72 of Law 5217/2025, as amended by article 17 of Law 5313/2026, Government Gazette A 102/25.06.2026).
The payment applies from 2025. It is tax-free and protected from seizure, and is not offset against debts.
Who is entitled: - Pensioners of e-EFKA (Unified Social Security Fund) (and of the State) who received a main old-age or survivor's pension in September, if they had turned 65 by 31 December of the previous year (or 60, if they receive no main old-age pension and receive a survivor's pension), with annual family income for the previous tax year up to €25,000 (single) or €35,000 (married or in a civil partnership) and property value (ENFIA, the annual property tax) up to €300,000 or €400,000 respectively. - e-EFKA pensioners with a main disability pension in September. - Recipients of the pension or allowance for uninsured elderly people. - Recipients of OPEKA (Organisation for Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity) disability welfare benefits and of certain disability allowances of e-EFKA and the State. - Foster parents of people in disability welfare programmes. - From 2025, also serving employees of General Government who receive the quadriplegia-paraplegia allowance for themselves or for a family member (Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD) 184561 EX 2025, Greek: ΚΥΑ 184561 ΕΞ 2025).
Amount: €300 a year. Law 5313/2026 (article 17) raised the amount from €250 to €300, raised the income limits from €14,000/€26,000 to €25,000/€35,000 and the property limits from €200,000/€300,000 to €300,000/€400,000, and added the age-60 route for people receiving a survivor pension; it applies to payments from 2026. In November 2025, under the original text of the law, €250 was paid (1,402,841 beneficiaries according to e-EFKA).

Announcement (Thessaloniki International Fair, 06/09/2026): the Prime Minister announced that the November payment rises from €300 to €400 net and is extended to all pensioners over 65, as well as to people with disabilities and uninsured elderly people, with payment on 30 November 2026. It has not been legislated yet; this page will be updated once it is published in the Government Gazette (FEK). Until then the €300 and the legal limits described above apply.
