Lifetime honorary payment for those who took part in the Cyprus events (1964, 1967, 1974)
Lifetime monthly honorary payment of €200 to conscripts, reserve officers, Armed Forces staff and Greek citizens who served in the Cyprus National Guard and took part in the events of 1964, 1967 or 20 July–20 August 1974. Granted on application with a certificate of participation.

What it is
Since 1 August 2020 the State has paid a lifetime honorary payment of €200 a month to those who took part in the Cyprus events.
Who: conscripts, cadet reserve officers, reserve officers, re-enlisted reserve officers and Armed Forces staff, and Greek citizens who served in the Cyprus National Guard, provided they hold Greek citizenship and took part in the events of 1964 (Tillyria, Nicosia), 1967 (Kofinou, Agioi Theodoroi) or 20 July–20 August 1974. Law 4864/2021 extended the scheme.
Proof of participation: a certificate from the Ministry of National Defence (Forward Operations Zone) or from the Cyprus National Guard.
Apply to the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.
