Pallini: reduced water price of €0.65 per cubic metre for vulnerable groups (2026)
For 2026 the Municipality of Pallini charges use from 21 to 60 cubic metres per four months at €0.65 per cubic metre (instead of €0.80) for disabled people, large, three-child and single-parent families, people in financial hardship and the long-term unemployed, within income limits.

What it is
With its decision on the 2026 water fees (294/2025), the Pallini Municipal Council sets that for the groups below use from 21 to 60 cubic metres per four months costs €0.65 per cubic metre (the normal household price is €0.80); for each dependent child beyond the third the 60 cubic metre limit rises by 12 cubic metres:
- a1: people with a disability of 67% or more with taxable family income up to €15,000;
- a2: families with two members with a disability of at least 67% and income up to €20,000;
- a3: single-parent families with three children (with large-family status) and income up to €18,000, all children dependants;
- a4: large families with four to six dependent children and income up to €25,000 (+€2,000 for each child beyond four), and large families with at least six dependent children with no financial criteria;
- a5: people in financial hardship, with a Welfare certificate;
- a6: three-child families with income up to €20,000, all children dependants;
- a7: single-parent families with income up to €15,000, all children dependants;
- a8: the long-term unemployed (12 months in a row on the DYPA register, you or your spouse) with income up to €10,000 (+€2,000 for each dependent child).
Also, the deposits and shares-bonds of the whole family must not exceed twice the income limit, yearly spending must not exceed the income limit, and you must not own an aircraft, a swimming pool, a pleasure boat or employ domestic staff. The reduction is for the main home, not shops, not backdated, for one year. Applications from 1 December to 31 January each year (later only when you first gain the right or something changes).
