20% fee reduction for relatives studying at the Hellenic Open University
Spouses, parents with unmarried children and unmarried siblings who study at the same time in a programme run solely by the Hellenic Open University get a 20% reduction in the academic year's fees.

What it is
The Hellenic Open University (EAP) gives a 20% fee reduction when relatives study at the same time in programmes run solely by the University, with full financial and academic obligations. It covers: a) spouses, b) parents with unmarried children who belong to the original family (the children's marital status has never changed) and c) unmarried siblings who belong to the original family.
There is no reduction for students of inter-institutional programmes. If one of the relatives attends a short or special programme or single modules, or has modules credited, recognised or transferred, none of the members gets the reduction.
If one relative holds an EAP scholarship, the other gets the 20% only on the amount he or she paid. If someone received the 10% admission reduction, the discount is 10% of the amount paid.
Only one of the relatives applies, online at dev.eap.gr, with a recent family status certificate. Results come after the scholarships are awarded, usually in the autumn.
A yearly programme; the 2025-2026 round (announced 01/07/2026) closed on 31/07/2026 at 15:00. The 2026-2027 round has not been announced.
