The Municipality of Amfilochia gives 50% off the water and sewerage tariff (up to 100 cubic metres per four months, first-home meter) to large families with minors or students and to people with disabilities with household income up to €12,000, and a full exemption to kidney patients with a disability of 67% or more and income up to €30,000.

What it is
The Municipality of Amfilochia set its 2026 water and sewerage charges (Municipal Council decision 132/2025):
- Large families (including a parent without a spouse with three children, whom the law treats as a large family) with minor children up to 18 or children studying at university up to 25: 50% off.
- People with disabilities, with household income up to €12,000: 50% off.
- Kidney patients with a disability of 67% or more and previous-year household income up to €30,000: full exemption.
The discount applies to the water and the sewerage tariff, on the whole consumption bill, for the first-home meter and up to the first 100 cubic metres per four months.
