What it is
The Zagora-Mouresi Municipal Council decided not to change the water fees for 2026 (decision 176/2025). Under these fees:
- for the municipality's large families (including a parent without a spouse with three children, whom the law treats as a large family) the water tariff is 50% lower; the cut is only for the homes of large families, not for businesses;
- people with a disability of 67% or more are exempt from the household water standing charges (e.g. €25 a year for homes in Zagora and Mouresi).
