IKY-EYDAP scholarships for PhD candidates (water supply and sewerage fields)
Each year IKY awards two four-year scholarships of €1,000 a month (gross), funded by EYDAP, to PhD candidates at Greek universities whose thesis is on water supply and sewerage. Per-capita income must be up to €14,000.

What it is
The State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), funded by EYDAP, has awarded since academic year 2022-2023 two four-year scholarships a year to PhD candidates at Greek universities.
Thesis topics: water and sewerage services; design, construction, operation and management of networks; pumping, desalination, treatment, storage, transport and distribution of water; collection, transport, treatment and disposal of wastewater.
Conditions: a Greek tax number (AFM), no other doctorate, no professional relationship with EYDAP, per-capita income up to €14,000.
The latest call (academic year 2025-2026) closed on 30 April 2025. No call for 2026-2027 has been announced.
