What it is
An offer of a private company — not a state benefit. The airline SKY express gives every year (5th consecutive year in 2026) a return flight ticket from Naxos to the place of study to every young person from Naxos and the Small Cyclades who was admitted to higher education. The tickets are announced at the award event for successful candidates organised by the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades; the announcement mentions no separate application. In 2026 the event took place on 10 September and 113 students received tickets. The next round (2027) has not been announced yet.
