What it is
The Tinos Municipal Council kept the water and sewerage fees unchanged for 2026 (decision 9/2026). Each area has a «Homes of vulnerable groups» tariff at about half the household one: for example in the Tinos town community €0.54 per cubic metre for 1-21 m³ instead of €1.07, €0.81 for 22-42 instead of €1.61, €1.41 for 43-84 instead of €2.81, with the same €18 yearly standing charge. The decision also provides 50% off water and sewerage fees, standing charges and the treatment-plant cost for vulnerable groups, with the documents the service sets.
Vulnerable groups include welfare-allowance recipients, the needy with a social-welfare booklet, large families, three-child families and single-parent families, under the conditions and documents of the applicable rules.
