For 2026 the Municipality of Megalopoli cuts the water price by 50% for large families (one supply per family), the needy and people with disabilities, and by 20% for three-child families.

DYPA hiring subsidy for unemployed people in the lignite phase-out Just Transition areas (W. Macedonia, Megalopoli, small islands)

DYPA subsidises, for 12 months, private businesses that hire registered unemployed residents of Western Macedonia, Megalopoli and neighbouring municipalities, and small islands. The business applies; the unemployed person is put forward by a DYPA job counsellor.
