What it is
A Hellenic Development Bank programme funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, through partner banks. It gave loans of 5,000 to 25,000 euros per tax number, for one property only, for 3 to 7 years, for the energy upgrade of an existing home. 75% of the loan was interest-free from the Recovery Fund and 25% came from the bank at a fixed rate fully subsidised by the State. It was for individuals with full ownership, usufruct or bare ownership of a legal home in Greece, main or non-rented second home (one application per tax number), who had not benefited since 1/1/2020 from another EU-funded energy-upgrade programme (e.g. Exoikonomo). The deadline for inclusion was 31/5/2026 and loan contracts were signed by 31/8/2026. The programme is closed. It is different from «Spiti mou» (home-purchase loans).
