Zitsa 2026 birth grant (EUR 1,000–1,500)

The Municipality of Zitsa pays a one-off EUR 1,000 for the 1st child, EUR 1,300 for the 2nd and EUR 1,500 for the 3rd and each further child born in 2026, to parents on its municipal roll who live permanently in the Ekali, Evrymenes, Zitsa or Molossoi municipal units, with income within the limits of the A21 child benefit.

The parent or whoever has parental responsibility applies with the documents by the end of the tax-return deadline of the year of birth (2026). Ask the municipality where to apply.

What it is

By council decision 131/2026 (12/10/2026) the Municipality of Zitsa set up a one-off cash grant for every child born from 1/1/2026 to 31/12/2026, for parents on its municipal roll who live permanently in its outlying municipal units (Ekali, Evrymenes, Zitsa, Molossoi), under article 525(4) and (5) of Law 5314/2026.

A three-member committee examines the applications.
