What it is
The Municipality of Prespes pays a one-off grant of €3,000 for every child born on or after 21 September 2026. It is paid to one of the child's parents who, at the time of the birth, is both a registered citizen and a permanent resident of the Municipality of Prespes. The total net declared income of the family (the applicant, the spouse or civil partner and their children, including the newborn) must not exceed: €40,000 for 2 members; €45,000 for 3; €50,000 for 4; €55,000 for 5; €60,000 for 6; for more members €60,000 plus €5,000 for each extra member. The same limit applies to single-parent families. For applications in 2026 the income of tax year 2025 counts. Apply to the Municipality within three months of the birth.
