What it is
The Municipality of Malevizi set up a one-off aid for three-child and large families (including single-parent ones) with a dependent infant or toddler, i.e. a child not enrolled in kindergarten at the time of application.
Who: at least one parent or guardian is registered with and permanently living in the Municipality of Malevizi; the family has 3 or more children; equivalised family income up to €15,000.
Amount: €1,200 with equivalised income up to €10,000; €1,000 with €10,001–15,000; €1,200 regardless of income if a family member has a certified disability of 80% or more.
Equivalised income: total family income divided by the scale of article 214 of law 4512/2018 (first parent 1, second parent 0.5, each dependent child 0.25; a more favourable weighting for single parents).
The application dates will be announced by a Municipality press release; applications go to the Municipality registry and are checked by the Community Centre. Payment by bank transfer, subject to available budget. It is a one-off measure.
