What it is
Insured persons who need breathing support (CPAP/BiPAP/ventilator), who have chronic respiratory failure requiring oxygen therapy, or who have sleep apnoea syndrome. Rental of CPAP/BiPAP/ventilator/oxygen concentrator devices with no co-payment by the beneficiary; purchase of nebulisers, breathing trainers, asthma peak flow meters etc. at the prices in the Annex. Frequency/limit: the initial electronic oxygen therapy prescription lasts up to 3 months, and subsequent prescriptions last six months each; a portable concentrator/liquid oxygen requires approval from the AYS (Supreme Health Council).
