Perama EUR 1,000 allowance for every new birth
The Municipality of Perama announced a EUR 1,000 allowance for every new child of registered citizens, not only the first and with no income criteria, funded in the 2027 budget. The terms and procedure have not been announced yet.

What it is
On 13/10/2026 the Municipality of Perama announced funding for a EUR 1,000 allowance «for every new birth of a Perama citizen», entered in the 2027 budget. According to the announcement it is paid for every new child, not only the first, regardless of income, and it is for citizens on the Perama municipal roll. The municipality's Finance and Social Services run it.
