One-off Childbirth Grant €3,000 — Municipality of Nisyros

The Municipality of Nisyros pays a one-off grant of €3,000 for every child born after 1 July 2024. It is for those who, when the child is born, are registered citizens and permanent residents of the Municipality of Nisyros. The total net declared family income must not exceed (the newborn counts as a member): €25,000 for 2 members (e.g. a single-parent family with 1 newborn); €40,000 for 3 members (e.g. 2 parents with 1 newborn, or a single-parent family with 2 minors); €45,000 for 4 members; €50,000 for 5 or more members. The limit rises by €5,000 for each additional minor member (an adult sixth member, e.g. a grandparent, does not raise it). Permanent residence is shown by the 2025 tax assessment for births in 2024, and by the 2026 one for births in 2025 and 2026. Apply to the Municipality of Nisyros with the documents, together with the child's birth registration certificate and a solemn declaration that the parents have not received the grant from another municipality. For 2026 the municipality has set aside €24,000 for the grant.
