What it is
The same qualifying conditions as the corresponding main pension (old-age/disability/survivors'), provided there is insurance time in a supplementary fund that has been merged into e-EFKA (Electronic National Social Security Fund), according to the fund's statute. On the death of an insured person/pensioner, the family members are eligible under the same terms. The application is submitted online, without supporting documents, together with or immediately after the main pension application. Maximum monthly gross amount (sum of all supplementary pensions, from 1/1/2024): €1,534.21.
You are entitled to a supplementary old-age pension if you have at least 15 years or 4,500 days of supplementary insurance and receive a main old-age pension from e-EFKA (from 20/12/2023; not for those who received a main pension with fewer than 15 years under special provisions).
