Katerini creative-activity centre (KDAP): income-based fees, free for low incomes and large families
For vacant places at the Katerini KDAP, for children without an EETAA voucher, the monthly fee is free for family income up to EUR 6,000 and EUR 20–60 on a scale (single parents EUR 10–30). The 2nd child gets 50% off, the 3rd is free; large families and families with a parent or child with a disability of 67% or more are exempt.

What it is
By council decision 344/2026 (October 2026) the Municipality of Katerini set the monthly fee for children attending its creative-activity centre (KDAP) who are not beneficiaries of the EETAA voucher programme, when places are vacant.
Monthly fee by total family income (declared plus separately taxed amounts): up to EUR 6,000 free; EUR 6,001–9,000 EUR 20; EUR 9,001–12,000 EUR 30; EUR 12,001–15,000 EUR 40; EUR 15,001–18,000 EUR 50; from EUR 18,001 EUR 60. For single-parent families, widowed and divorced parents: up to EUR 6,000 free, then EUR 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 on the same bands. The second child gets 50% off and the third is free. Large families and families where a parent or child has a disability of 67% or more are exempt.
The fee is paid monthly from the month of enrolment until the end of July. For an absence of 15 days or more half is paid; for an absence of over a month for a serious health reason, with a certificate, nothing is paid.
