What it is
The scheme runs nationwide and applications are assessed in the order they are submitted until the budget runs out. It is for mothers who are working, unemployed and registered with DYPA (Public Employment Service) or studying, fathers with sole parental responsibility or custody, and other persons who have been given sole custody. The child must be aged from 2 months to 2.5 years. Individual taxable income must be up to €24,000 for a family with one child and up to €27,000 with two children, while for three or more children there is no income limit.
