What it is
Owners of a main home damaged by a natural disaster, in officially delimited areas. Applications: per delimited event; open for Thessaly/Central Greece in 2026.
Reconstruction loans can carry a Greek State guarantee. The Directorate for Natural Disaster Recovery requests it for each area once the area is delimited by a joint ministerial decision; the affected person borrows from the bank and does not apply separately for the guarantee (Law 4549/2018, articles 91(a), 96, 97, 100).
