What it is
A one-off package of baby items (baby kit) for each selected beneficiary who is a permanent resident of the Municipality of Mytilene, with family income of up to €24,000 (+€1,500 per additional member). It is only for pregnant women. Selection is made by a points system among applicants who meet the income criteria (priority: more minor children, members with a disability of 80%+, single-parent families, two unemployed parents) — it is NOT a guaranteed right, and the number of packages per round is limited by the funding. The provider is mainly private (the NGO APOSTOLI + Eurobank); the municipality only co-organises and receives the applications. Application period: annual cycle, with a separate call for each round (at least 3 rounds: 2023, 2025, 2026); the last known application deadline was 21/8/2026, and the cycle is closed.
