What it is
EOPYY (National Organisation for the Provision of Health Services) insured persons who need orthotic devices, artificial upper/lower limbs, splints, braces, ocular prostheses and other rehabilitation medical devices listed in EOPYY's Register of Reimbursable Products. Price per item as set in an Annex of an EOPYY Board decision (Government Gazette, FEK); the insured person pays 25% (0% with an opinion from KEPA (Disability Certification Centre)/Special Committees, or for amputation of 67%+ with the non-institutional care allowance, an artificial breast after mastectomy, an artificial eye, or a work accident). Frequency/limit: depends on the item, as set in EOPYY's Register of Reimbursable Products. For each item (for example a wheelchair or a walking aid), check whether it is listed in the Register, using EOPYY's online product search (eservices.eopyy.gov.gr).
