Step by step

   Check that you meet the charger requirements

   The smart home-charger subsidy is requested only together with the purchase or lease of a new, all-electric M1 or N1 category vehicle, within the same application — it cannot be submitted on its own. The charger must be 'smart', meaning it supports remote control via the OCPP v1.6 protocol or newer. You must also own or rent the parking space where it will be installed.

   Prepare the documents for the application

   To apply you will need TaxisNet codes, the purchase or lease quote/document for the electric vehicle, a quote for the charger, and the document proving you own or rent the parking space. The installation documents — the installer's declaration (YDE) and the DEDDIE grid-connection/notification form — are submitted later, at the payout stage.

   Submit your application on kinoumeilektrika3.gov.gr

   Register on the platform, fill in your details, choose the vehicle category and model, and state that you are additionally requesting the charger subsidy. If you belong to a special category (person with a disability, family with at least three dependent children, young person up to 29), declare it so any extra support can be checked. The submission deadline is 31 December 2026, or earlier if the programme's budget is exhausted.

   After approval: purchase, installation and payout

   If your application is approved, you complete the purchase of the vehicle and charger and upload the final documents to the platform: invoices, the installer's declaration, and the DEDDIE connection/notification form. The charger subsidy reaches up to 400 EUR under the programme's current terms; if the pre-VAT purchase price is lower, the actual purchase price is paid. Respect the deadlines and retention obligations set out in your approval decision.

   Do not delay — the budget can run out
