If you are already enrolled, talk to your treating doctor
Your treating doctor sets how many doses (1 to 8) you need. New enrolment applications are not accepted now; follow the Ministry of Health announcements.

What it is
The Adult Obesity Programme of the Ministry of Health provides free medication to adults with obesity. After the interruption of June 2026, funding moved from European to national resources and, following a recommendation of the Committee of Public Health Experts, the 43,500 people already enrolled can receive up to 8 doses of medication from the start. The exact number of doses (1 to 8) is set individually by the treating doctor. The programme continues as normal and is entirely free.
There are no new enrolments now: according to the Ministry, possible inclusion of new beneficiaries will be announced in due course. The medical entry criteria are not given in the announcement.
